I Was Thirsty and You Gave Me Something to Drink

Oftentimes, dirty, contaminated water is the only available source for drinking water in remote, impoverished parts of Ethiopia.

In remote, impoverished Weldo Telfam, Ethiopia, women and children collect drinking water from a polluted stream—the community’s sole water source. Like many of the 768 million people around the world without access to clean water, villagers here fill water jugs, bathe, and wash clothes in the stream. World Vision plans to cap the pond’s spring and build a water system to provide drinking water to the community.
