I am Weak, but He is Strong

Description

In our weakest moments, we are forced to run on the power of Christ alone, making our weakest moments our strongest moments.

Read: 2 Corinthians 11:16-33

Have you ever felt you were doing everything you could to be obedient to the Lord? You spoke up when He said to. You bravely laid your reputation, hopes and dreams on the line to represent Him. You were confident He was on your side.

Then suddenly, you felt alone. Like you must have been completely wrong. Did you really understand Him? You asked God for help, but it seems He has left you to fight for yourself.

In 2 Corinthians 11:23-27, Paul writes about how he labored and endured as a missionary. He was beaten. He was in constant danger and he was tired. No one in the Corinthian church can say they suffered more than he did. Despite that, Paul says the only thing worthy of bragging about is his weakness (2 Corinthians 11:30). In our weakest moments, we are forced to run on the power of Christ alone, making our weakest moments our strongest moments.

If your weakness is most evident after taking a stand for Him, know it is at these times—although you may not see or feel it yet—that the full power of Christ is carrying you through.
