“I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6 NKJV).
Moses was the son of a Hebrew slave yet a member of the Egyptian royal family. He became an outcast after killing a man and fled to a desert near Horeb, the mountain of God (Exodus 3:1).
God prepared Moses for a lifelong task and called him from the midst of a burning bush. “I AM the God of your Father---the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob…I have surely seen My people…I have come down to deliver them out and to bring them up to a land flowing with milk and honey (Exodus 3:6-8 NKJV).
Yahweh fulfilled His promise. As Moses trusted, God’s strong arm brought the Israelites through the Red Sea and into freedom. They had revival in their hearts and sang ‘the Lord is my strength and song, He has become my salvation; You purchased us and will plant us in the mountain of Your inheritance’ (Exodus 15-Song of Moses).
“I AM” was placed in Virgin Mary’s womb. The Christ-child Jesus---human and divine--- was fully God.
After the Anointed One was crucified and buried, He arose the third day. Before He ascended to His Father in heaven, He promised the third Person of the Trinity [Holy Spirit] would inhabit every believer (John 14:16).
300 years before Christ was born; Plato a Grecian philosopher, made a prediction.
“That if ever the truly good man were to appear, the man who would tell the truth, he would have His eyes gouged out and in the end be crucified.”
That Man did appear and told the religious crowd; I am the Truth, Life and Way. As Plato foresaw, that Man was crucified.
God doesn’t change---He’s the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The only Way wants to be our Savior and is tenderly calling, ‘I AM all you need.'
