Mothers and malnourished children wait for assistance at a clinic in the Kuajok, Warrup state in South Sudan. World Vision runs this outpatient program to diagnose and treat malnutrition.

A global report from World Vision finds that millions of people who rely on food, nutrition, and cash support are going without. According to “When There is No Food Assistance,” 100 million vulnerable men, women, and children annually require food aid. However, breaks in the food delivery and distribution pipeline leave many with little or nothing.

While World Vision continues to provide aid in South Sudan, the organization had to suspend aid in some areas because of increased conflict, and violence aimed at aid organizations.
