Hope in God
Description
...but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint (Isaiah 40:31).
THINK
When Jesus called people to follow Him, He never promised that it would be easy. He never said that we wouldn’t face difficulties or struggles. He did, however, promise us that if we place our hope in Him, He would help us make it through.
Putting our hope in God is more than an acknowledgement of His ability to help us. It is all about our willingness to step out and follow the path He has placed before us. When we place our full confidence in God’s ability, and follow that up with actions of our own according to His will, we will discover the supernatural ability God has to help us “not grow weary” and “not be faint.”
PRAY
Thank God for His promise to help us make it through any situation when we trust in Him.
