Hold on to Mom

Description

When children are hungry, mothers suffer too.

Mother Habsou Hamisou and baby Masatoura, 17 months, live in a drought-prone area of Niger where World Vision and the government are working to prevent deaths by providing nutritional assistance to mothers and children.

Children under the age of 5 are especially vulnerable to food and nutrition shortages. Those found to be affected are put on a program of supplementary feeding with fortified food items until they reach appropriate weight.

Please pray for children and mothers who lack adequate food.
