Here Are 3 Good Reasons to Praise God ...

Description

Praising God gives us an opportunity to express our gratitude to Him in a very special way.

Perhaps you’ve read the passage from the Bible that says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” (see Colossians 3:16)

You might have experienced it on a Sunday: There’s a certain grace in praise.

So, here are three good reasons to praise God:

  1. Praise ushers you into the presence of God.
  2. Praise activates the arm of God.
  3. Praise calms you.

After a stressful week, these times of praise together with the whole body of Christ are like a breath of fresh air. In the middle of life’s trials, they help us to keep going. And after receiving good news or having a prayer answered, they give us an opportunity to express our gratitude to God in a very special way.

Whatever you’re going through right now, be challenged ... today, whether it be in your family room, your car, or even while riding public transportation, play your favorite praise song and praise God! Then you can write down in a journal or in your smartphone what you’re feeling afterward.

Your praise is precious! It enables you to draw near to God and grow in Him. May it become a daily practice in your life ... like eating meals, brushing your teeth, etc. Busy yourself by doing good to your soul by praising God day by day. By the way, we're praising God with all our heart for you!
