Christ understands your heartache in life. You can go to Him in confidence whenever you are in pain.

Psalm 109:22-26  For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me. I fade away like an evening shadow; I am shaken off like a locust. My knees give way from fasting; my body is thin and gaunt. I am an object of scorn to my accusers; when they see me, they shake their heads. Help me, Lord my God; save me according to your unfailing love.

With this life we have heartache; the heartache of lost love, lost innocence, lost opportunities. Each of us have experienced these feelings and can relate to the feeling of fading away like an evening shadow, falling to the ground like a bug, feeling the scorn of others.

The amazing thing is, Christ experienced all these same feelings. Because He has, we can go to Him with the confidence that He will understand, that He will feel our pain, and that He will heal us.
