Goodness Overflows

Having easy access to clean water has enhanced the life of this mother in Kenya, as well as for every member of her family.

Before World Vision built a water system in their community, she and her husband were often away all day looking for water for the family's cattle and for home use. Leackey Leina, their older son, now 16, was expected to stay home and look after his younger siblings until his sister was old enough to care for them. But even after he started school, Leackey was often sent home for being dirty.

The construction of a water project serving livestock and people changed everything.

Now all of Leackey's siblings go to school, and instead of being tired, stressed about water and overworked, his parents can get water for their various needs nearby.
