God's Word Renews Us

Description

Claim His strength. His peace. Hang on to His hope. His power. All that He is, is available to you and me through His Word. There is renewal of life in God’s Word.

I am laid low in the dust; preserve my life according to your word. PSALM 119:25

You may be going through the most difficult time in your life, but let me encourage you that God’s Word will sustain you — as it has sustained me. The pressures of pain and suffering, my son’s cancer, the loss of my mother, my husband’s illness — through it all, God sustains me. And He will sustain you too. Isaiah 50:4 says, “He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught.”

Some days I’m only capable of reading a verse at a time. Yet the supernatural life-giving power of God’s Word penetrates my suffering and emotional upheaval, giving me strength to go on — one day at a time.

Colossians 3:16 says, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly.”

Claim His strength. His peace. Hang on to His hope. His power. All that He is, is available to you and me through His Word. There is renewal of life in God’s Word. So … read your Bible.
