Start today to include God in your everyday, normal, non-perfect life. Depend on Him in every aspect of your life.

2 Samuel 22: 31

As for God, His way is perfect...

We strive to live the perfect life, to be the perfect family, and have the perfect children. But, all of our striving is in vain. No matter how much we reach for perfection, it is always just a little further than our grasp. God, however, is the exact opposite. He is within our grasp if we will reach for Him, and His way is perfect. 

It is silly when you think about it. We hunger for something we cannot have…perfection, yet we reject perfection in God and He is always readily available to us. God’s way is perfect. He knows all, sees all, and IS all. Begin to include God into your life, every aspect of your life, big and small. Ask God to direct your path concerning your life --from deciding which pre-school to pick for your child to what type of family vacation is the best one to take this year. God’s way is perfect and He is a God of details. Start including Him into your everyday, normal, non-perfect life. 

Prayer: Father, Thank You that You are a God that is all-knowing and sovereign over all. Lord, I depend on You in every aspect of my life. Forgive me when I strive to be the perfect mom and not depend on You. I want to be so dependent on You, that it comes as natural to me as breathing. God, thank You for directing my path and for Your never ending patience with me.
