God's Grace to Cover Me



God’s grace is a lot like spiritual cartilage: it absorbs the shock of life’s hardest bumps and softens the pain of life’s greatest hurts.

Did you know God’s grace is a lot like cartilage?

I recently read an article about how important cartilage is. Now, I wasn’t so interested in Biology when I was in school, but now that I’m getting older things like this are kind of important. Anyway, the article explained how cartilage protects our joints from wear and tear and helps absorb shock. And, when we don’t have enough cartilage, in our knees for instance, it’s really painful.

Well, I don’t have joint problems yet, but I do need God’s protection from life’s wear and tear. So, I’ve decided God’s grace is a lot like spiritual cartilage. It absorbs the shock of my life’s hardest bumps, and it helps soften the pain from life’s greatest hurts.
