For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9).

THINK

“Great Is Thy Faithfulness“ is an old hymn that talks about God’s great, unchanging faithfulness. It never fails and will always be there. The amazing thing about this faithfulness is that we didn’t have to do anything to earn it. It’s a gift. That is just His character. 

But sometimes we ask, “Is He really always faithful—even when I wasn’t having anything to do with Him or when everything was falling apart?” The answer is YES! Can He say the same of us, though? Can we say that our motto in life is FAITH: “Forsaking All I Trust Him”. We can have amazing confidence in this fact—He is unshakeable. Stand on the foundation you know will not be shaken. Be full of faith because He is faithful!

PRAY

Thank God for His faithfulness in your life. Ask Him to make you aware of those times when you didn’t recognize how faithful He truly was.  And then thank Him again.

ACT

Make a timeline of your life. Note God’s faithfulness—how He protected you, provided for you and guided you... even when you may not have been anywhere near the path He had for your life.
