God's Armor for Our Children

Description

Don’t wait until it is too late to give your children the tools that will protect them and help them experience a relationship with God.

Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. – Ephesians 6:11

THINK

What if there were a suit of armor that could protect your children from the dangers they will encounter in life? Chances are you wouldn't wait until after they encountered life’s dangers to give it to them. You would want them to be protected now. But too many times, we miss the importance of the protection we can provide to them NOW.

We actually have access to such a suit for our children. It is a suit of hope, character, integrity, and leadership that protects their heart, which is designed to live beyond this world. We can give this suit to our children now.

Don’t wait until it is too late to give your children the tools that will protect them and help them experience a relationship with God. Because they are not “just kids”; they are our future. Provide them with the armor they need now so that they can fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.

PRAY

Ask God for the drive, passion, energy and commitment needed to help your kids learn about and develop a relationship with Him.

ACT

When you take them to church this weekend, make sure to ask them what they learned when you pick them up. And use that as a starter for great conversation!
