God Loves You Still!
Sometimes, circumstances can make us doubt God’s love: an unexpected job layoff, a public criticism, a recurring sin, a biting disappointment, an illness, an accident.
And here we are, thinking that “if this happened to me, it’s probably because I deserve it ... it’s probably because I’m not loved by God …” Nothing is further from the truth. If you ever start thinking like that, reject those lies immediately.
Because God loves you, and there is no circumstance that could ever shake this powerful truth: “ ... neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (see the Bible, Romans 8:38-39)
Believe it: Nothing can or ever will be able to separate you from His love for you! No matter your actions, your situation ... God loves you over and over. Nothing could put an end to the love that your Heavenly Father has for you. Nothing will separate you from it:
- Not your fears
- Or doubts
- Or sickness
- Or the betrayal of your spouse, friend, or co-worker
- Or financial difficulties...
- NOTHING will separate you from the love of God!
Be assured that there is nothing capable of stopping God’s love for you, a love that has neither beginning or end. God is infinite, and His love for you is as well!
Pray today … “My Jesus, I could never thank You enough for Your love, tenderness, and patience towards me. What a joy to know that nothing can destroy Your love for me ... that nothing separates us. Teach me to be ever closer to You, nearer to Your heart ... May I hear the sound of Your voice, and may You guide each one of my steps! In Jesus’s name, amen.”
