God Listens to You from on High

Description

Humble yourself under His mighty hand, acknowledge your limitations ... but also confess God's almightiness!

What do you do when grief overwhelms your heart? What do you do when terrorist attacks attempt to sow fear throughout a whole nation? Or when everything seems dark and terrifying around you?

Some situations can seem completely beyond us. And so we feel invaded by our fears and questions …

There’s only one thing to do, and it’s not the least at that! Invoke God’s name in these situations! In other words, call upon Him, seek Him, cry out to Him. God is not insensitive to these situations that seem hopeless. Quite the opposite! His ears are open to hear His people and intervene in their favor.

It’s in the Bible: “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (see 2 Chronicles 7:14)

Oh yes, God turns His ear towards you, listens to you, and intervenes on your behalf! The righteous man is never forsaken by the Lord. Humble yourself under His mighty hand, acknowledge your limitations ... but also confess His almightiness! If someone can intervene and help you, it’s definitely Him!

God desires to listen to you from on high, forgive you, and heal you ... you, your loved ones, your land. When these very difficult times arise, seek God. Today, come into His presence and humbly turn towards Him ... He will listen to you with great attention!
