God Isn't Finished with You Yet!
It’s true that sometimes, the situations we experience are the consequences of our choices and mistakes. It’s true that sometimes God had warned us, spoken to us, and we didn’t listen to Him. And that, in the end, we inflicted ourselves with pain and suffering that led us to failure.
However, the Bible says that God’s compassions fail not and that His mercies are new every morning. (see Lamentations 3:22-23)
The right choice in those situations is to acknowledge our mistakes and return to the Father, like the prodigal son who came back. In that parable of Jesus, the father was waiting there on the doorstep. And when he saw his son in the distance, he ran to meet him and take him who was lost into his arms.
Yes, it is still possible for you to become the person that God has foreseen, despite the failures, despite the mistakes, despite the sins! God isn’t finished with you. Lift your head and run to Him -- His arms are wide open for you!
