God is at Peace

00:00

Description

Because of Jesus and because of the Holy Spirit, we have access to God the Father.

God is at peace, are you? God the Father sent Jesus Christ to the Earth to deal with the issue of sin by providing an infinite satisfaction on the cross. While Jesus was on the Earth he proclaimed peace and illustrated grace to everyone around him. To those who were far off, such as the Jews who did not keep the law or Gentiles who were apart from the covenants of the Old Testament, Jesus brought peace. To those who were near because they were Jews who had the law and participated in the Temple, Jesus also proclaimed peace.

17 And He came and preached peace to you who were far away, and peace to those who were near;

 18 for through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father—(Eph 2:17-18).

Because of Jesus and because of the Holy Spirit (who is sent by the Father and Jesus from heaven), we have access to God the Father. God is at peace with us through the cross and through his Son, so the question is: have you accepted personally the peace of God? We may get preoccupied with our failures and forget what the Son has done in bringing us peace. Are you at peace?
