God Doesn’t Lie

Description

When you wonder what things to believe, trust your God.

Here’s what the news, your schoolbooks, and museums will tell you:

  • A 4.4-billion-year-old zircon was found in Australia.
  • A 66-million-year-old long-nosed “Pinocchio rex” dinosaur was discovered in China.
  • Almost 14 billion years ago, the world as we know it was formed when all matter in the universe got squeezed so tightly and got so hot that it exploded all over the place.

In Genesis chapter 1, here is what God tells you: “In the beginning God created heaven and earth.”

Day 1: “God said, ‘Let there be light!’ So there was light. . . . God named the light day, and the darkness . . . night.”

Day 2: “God made the horizon and separated the water above and below the horizon.”

Day 3: “Then God said, ‘Let the water under the sky come together in one area, and let the dry land appear. . . . Let the earth produce vegetation.’”

Day 4: “God made the two bright lights: the larger light to rule the day and the smaller light to rule the night. He also made the stars.”

Day 5: “God created the large sea creatures, every type of creature that swims around in the water and every type of flying bird.”

Day 6: “God made every type of . . . animal, and every type of creature that crawls on the ground. . . . Then God said, ‘Let us make humans in our image.’ . . . And God saw everything that he had made and that it was very good.”

When you wonder what things to believe, trust your God.
