Go on Toward the Harvest

Description

If the soil of your heart is soft and receiving, the seed pure and the sower faithful, you will see God’s harvest in your life.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. (Galatians 6:9)

When I was growing up in Mississippi, my dad had a small country store, frequented by farmers. I watched as they came in for fertilizer, seed, hoes, rakes, shovels and all the other implements of farming. I learned that when the harvest is bad, farmers do three things. First, they look at the soil, then they inspect the seed, and finally, the sower. If the soil of your heart is soft and receiving, the seed pure and the sower faithful, you will see God’s harvest in your life. That’s His promise.
