Go on in Wellness

If life has hurt you, He calls you to look up for wellness, not “inside” nor “outside.”

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

If life has hurt you, look inside for healing—that’s the advice the world gives. There are also counselors who tell you to look outside, at those who caused you pain. But God gives us better direction. He knows the broken heart cannot heal the broken heart. The Father also understands that focusing on people who hurt us can cause us to fall into blame and unforgiveness. He calls us to look up for wellness, not “inside” nor “outside.”
