Go 6K!

Ready, set, go! Participants in the 2016 Global 6K Walk for Water celebrate their contribution of clean water for children.

Thousands of people around the world are getting ready to run, walk, roll, or stroll to bring clean water to children who need it. And there are lots of kids, moms, and dads who would benefit from having clean water close to home.

663 million people around the world lack access to an improved water source. They walk an average of 6K (3.73 miles) a day and spend hours digging for water and carrying it home.

Just getting enough water to cook, drink, and clean, consumes enormous amounts of energy.

Join World Vision’s Global 6K Walk for Water on May 6. Make it a day to celebrate with family and friends for the blessings you have and the blessing you can be to others.
