“Though the pride of the godless reaches to the heavens and their heads touch the clouds, yet they will vanish forever, thrown away like their own dung. Those who knew them will ask, ‘Where are they?” Job 20:6-7

THINK

Whether we are performing before millions or standing in front of one child, God has provided us with a platform. And He wants us to use the creativity and giftedness that He has given us on that platform for His Kingdom and His glory. But when we take our vision off of God and instead turn it to our own objectives, pride stands in the way. And when pride walks onto the platform, God walks off.

We must continually point to the reality that God has given us everything. And because of that reality, we must continue to do is give God the glory for our platform. When it comes to your ‘platform,’ do you give God the glory for your success and achievements? 

PRAY

Thank God for all the things you have around you, for your success at school, your job, your business achievements, your home and your family. Praise Him for His provision. 

ACT

When you are complimented or rewarded for something you do today, give credit to the One who made you, wired you and built the platform that you are standing on. Use that platform for His glory, not your own.
