Genesis 15

Description

A tour of Genesis 15 with Ken Boa.

Genesis 15 is crucial to an understanding of Abram’s relationship with the Lord who called him out of Ur of the Chaldeans to be the father of nations. When the Lord promised that his descendants would be like the stars in number, Abram “believed in the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.” The Lord then ratified His blood covenant with His servant and his descendants by passing between the pieces of the animals. Because Abram believed God, he was justified by grace through faith.

Reading of Genesis 15

Prayer: Lord, Your faithfulness and loyal love reach to the heavens, and none of Your good promises ever fail.  I ask for the grace to trust You more and to believe Your promises.
