Genesis 15
Description
Genesis 15 is crucial to an understanding of Abram’s relationship with the Lord who called him out of Ur of the Chaldeans to be the father of nations. When the Lord promised that his descendants would be like the stars in number, Abram “believed in the Lord; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.” The Lord then ratified His blood covenant with His servant and his descendants by passing between the pieces of the animals. Because Abram believed God, he was justified by grace through faith.
