;

From Anxious to Calm

Description

If you could give all my anxieties away, who better to give them to than the Creator of the entire Universe?

1 Peter 5:5-7 In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

It’s interesting to me that being humble and removing anxiety are so close together in these verses. But maybe that’s intentional, maybe there is something to the point that submitting yourself to God will actually take away a lot of the worries we have in this life.

Think about it, if I could give all my anxieties away, who better to give them to than the Creator of the entire Universe? You think He can handle my little problems? I do.

So let God change your condition from proud and anxious, to humble and calm; because He cares for you.
