Fresh Water

Water is delivered to tanks next to the shelters of Syrian refugee families in Rajab, a tent settlement in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon.

Access to clean water and sanitation, plus good hygiene practices, may be difficult, but they are necessary to prevent disease in these overcrowded and primitive living environments.

World Vision provides water tanks and toilets, and teaches children about the importance of handwashing.
