For Single Parents
I think that being a single parent is one of the hardest jobs.
Growing up, my dad wasn't around much. In fact, I don't have any memories of my parents together, and I guess it is because their divorce was final before I was 2 years old. I watched my mom struggle to provide for us kids. She was the breadwinner, homework–helper, chauffeur, cook, housecleaner, and everything in-between.
If you’re a single parent, then you know how hard it can be. Maybe you cry when your kids aren’t looking. Maybe you wish there was someone to help you.
Although my mom struggled with a lot, watching her go to God for help and seeing her depend on His provision eventually helped me learn to trust God with my life.So if you’re a single parent, hang in there. You ARE making a difference.
