Focus on God's Plan

Description

When you focus on God’s plan and renew your thinking, you discover the power and potential of every relationship you have!

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12:2).

THINK

The way we think determines the way we feel; the way we feel determines the way we act. If we allow ourselves to be molded into the world’s mentality, then we will miss out on the power of what God has in store for us. We’ll fail to see His plan.

No matter what relationship you are in, think higher than the world’s standards. Instead, look to God’s plan and purpose. In your friendships, look past the superficial to the significant. In your parenting, look to God’s structure for the family. In your marriage, place priority and importance on what God says. If you are dating, follow God’s roadmap.

When you focus on God’s plan and renew your thinking, you discover the power and potential of every relationship you have!

PRAY

Thank God for laying the groundwork for your relationships. Ask Him for the wisdom and courage to stick with His principles in those relationships.

ACT

Make a list of three things you can do to stay committed to following God’s plan for your relationships. Post them where you can see them each day as a reminder.
