In this message we are told to stay focused on our relationship with God and what he has in store for our lives.

Jesus was focused, focused on His relationship with the Father and on the mission His Father had given Him. He knew why He had come, and He knew what it would take to stay focused on the purpose of His coming. This was why nothing came between Him and time with the Father. What vision has the Father given you? What are you doing to stay focused on accomplishing God's vision, and not your own?

They went to a place called Gethsemane, and Jesus said to his disciples, “Sit here while I pray." … Returning the third time, he said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Enough! The hour has come. Look, the Son of Man is delivered into the hands of sinners. Rise! Let us go! Here comes my betrayer!”—Mark 14:32, 41-42

Prayer: Lord, keep me focused on what You have called me to do. Clear my mind, refresh my vision, renew my spirit, and strengthen my resolve. I ask in Jesus' name, amen.
