Falling Short

If we want to stop falling short, then we've got to figure out what’s causing us to lose our balance.

I was on one of those moving sidewalks and lost my balance and fell!

It’s so embarrassing to fall down, but what I really hate is falling short! I’ve realized, though, if I want to stop falling short, I’ve got to figure out what’s causing me to lose my balance. Psalm 37:23-24, tells us that God directs our steps and He delights in every detail of our lives. And even though we stumble we won’t fall, because He holds us by the hand.

So what does that look like? Well, this week I’m asking God to hold my hand in managing my time. I’ve identified what makes me fall short in that area, like being unorganized or over committed. And I’ve asked to God help me eliminate what holds me back so I can move forward and see a change in that area.
