Everything Is Awesome

Description

As part of God’s team, His believers stick together. Everything is awesome and cool when you’re part of God’s team.

Over and over during The Lego Movie, you hear the song “Everything Is Awesome.” All the Lego mini-figures sing, “Everything is cool when you’re part of a team. Everything is awesome when we’re living our dream.”

Over and over in the Bible, God reminds you that everything is awesome when you’re part of his team. In 1 Corinthians 12:25-27, we hear, “God’s purpose was that the body should not be divided but rather that all of its parts should feel the same concern for each other. If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts share its suffering. If one part is praised, all the others share in its happiness. You are Christ’s body and each of you is an individual part of it.”

As part of God’s team, his believers stick together, work together, and look forward to the party forever in heaven. You care about each other, help each other out, celebrate each other’s successes, and thank God for living in harmony.

Let’s sing it together: “Everything is awesome. Everything is cool when you’re part of God’s team.”

Chomp on this!

How is your life awesome because you are on God’s team?

How do you work and stick together with others?

Dear Father, thank you for putting me on your awesome team. Help me remember that the people in my life are working side by side with me. Let me take care of them and protect them. Amen.
