Every Knee Will Bow to Yahweh

The God who became One of us now has to be confessed as deity, just as He was in Isaiah.

In the book of Isaiah, there is a prediction that all the idolaters of Babylon will be forced to bow and worship and admit that Yahweh is God alone.

23 "I have sworn by Myself, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, That to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear.

24 "They will say of Me, 'Only in Yahweh are righteousness and strength.' Men will come to Him, And all who were angry at Him shall be put to shame. (Isaiah 45:23-24)

Those verses are taken by Paul and rearranged to refer to Jesus.

9 Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name,

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth,

11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Phil 2:9-11)

Notice that in Philippians every tongue has to confess that Jesus is Lord or deity and in Isaiah the pagan Babylonians have to confess that Yahweh is Lord. The God who became One of us now has to be confessed as deity (LORD in the New Testament is equivalent to Yahweh) as He was in Isaiah.
