Ebola, Laid to Rest


“Ebola is still here; the war is not over,” says a member of an Ebola burial team in Sierra Leone.

Safe burials—in which families are protected from infection from the deceased— are one of the major weapons in the fight against this deadly disease.

A burial team member shows the importance of his work, the nature of his sacrifice, and his worries for his country’s long-term recovery.
