Jesus has given us gifts to draw others to God. Our gifts are not for us; they are meant to bless others.

1 Corinthians 14:24-25

"But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you." NKJV

Think about this: Jesus is the Son of God. He was and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He has all the best gifts ever created. Angels worship Him. All Heaven obeys Him. But, He left all that and came to earth as a baby, born in a manger. When He grew into a man, what were His actions? The entire time He walked the earth, His thoughts were to bless us and draw everyone to Heaven. He shared everything He had with us, to the point of death. He laid down His life for us. He died on a cross so we could be forgiven of our sins.

Friends, this is the example He set for us. He has given you and I gifts to draw others to God. Our gifts are not for ourselves, but they are to bless others. It is important we think about others as we live day to day. It's so easy to forget and push people from God instead of toward Him. If we are followers of Jesus, we have the opportunity to draw people to God. Today, look for opportunities to draw others to Him.

Life Lesson: God's gifts used in God's way will draw people to God.

Dear God, 
Thank You for sharing your blessings and gifts with me. Please help me today to follow Your example and use these gifts to draw people to You. Please place friends, family, and acquaintances in my path every day so I can tell them about You. Thank You for working in my life, and using me to bless others. In Jesus' name, Amen.
