Don't Steal From God

Description

Ask God to show how to use the resources He has provided to you—however big or small—and to show you His perfect formula for financial blessings.

Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me.
But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’
In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me. (Malachi 3:8-9).

THINK

Most people would not consider themselves guilty of stealing, let alone be called “robbers”. But God shows us his perspective when it comes to how we utilize the wealth and possessions that He provides to us. In Malachi 3 we see God’s anger when we rebel and ignore His financial plan. Far from being blessed, by doing things our way we are “under a curse”.

PRAY

You may consider that you do not make enough to meet your own needs. Ask God to show how to use the resources that He has provided to you—however big or small—and show you His perfect formula for financial blessings.

ACT

God commands us to bring the tithe to the storehouse—that is, to bring the first 10% of everything you earn to the local church. If you are not doing that, what is your plan? How is it working? Are you willing to try God’s plan and see how you can be blessed?
