Don't Miss the Train!

Description

Are you on the right platform? Have you made Jesus your Savior, your Lord?

Have you ever missed the train, bus, or tram? Perhaps on your way to work one morning? Or as you were heading to an important meeting? Wherever you’re trying to go, it’s never pleasant. Here's a little story …

One of the Jesus.net missionaries was waiting for the train one morning when the announcement sounded over the loudspeaker: “The train is arriving. Please watch your step.” But there was no train! All of a sudden, she realized that she’d been waiting all this time on the wrong platform! She knew exactly where she wanted to go, she simply made a mistake about the platform.

There is one thing that all men have in common. We will all meet our Creator one day. Are you sure you’re waiting on the right platform?

The Bible says that after death, there are two possible destinations: heaven or hell.

Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (the Bible, John 14:6)

There is only one way to the Father, to eternal life, and it’s Jesus. He lived a perfect life and carried the weight of our sins (the Bible, Isaiah 53:4). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. In other words, those who have accepted Christ as Savior and made Him the Lord of their lives will live forever with Him.

Don't you want to spend eternity with God, where there will be no more tears or sorrow? (the Bible, Revelation 21:4)

Are you on the right platform? Have you made Jesus your Savior, your Lord? Would you like to do so today? Simply pray this prayer.

“Jesus, I know that I have sinned against You. Thank You for paying the price in my place. I believe that You died and rose again and forgave all my sins. I trust in You and choose You to be my Savior and the Lord of my life. Thank You, Lord, for saving and forgiving me! In Jesus’s name, amen.”

Thanks for existing!
