Do You See Him?

Jesus boldly proclaimed that to look at Him was to see the God who sent Him. Let us pray to see Him more clearly each day.

Jesus boldly proclaimed that to look at Him was to see God who sent Him. Think about this. In Jesus' life, through His words and actions, we see God in action. We see God's character. We see God's heart. We see God at work, patiently teaching and developing the disciples. Slowly it dawns on us, this is who God is in our lives, compassionate, active, patient, intensely involved in the life of His people. This is the God who is transforming us to be more like Him. Do you see Him?

Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. The one who looks at me is seeing the one who sent me.—John 12:44-45

Prayer: God, let me see You more clearly each day. Open my eyes to who You are so that I grow in faith and trust. Let my life reflect a true picture of You to those around me. I pray in Jesus' name, amen.
