;

Do You Recognize His Voice?

Description

Pray that you will continue to recognize His voice, even in the midst of a crowd. And ask for the courage and ability to continually respond to Him.

…I have called you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1

THINK

Watch the interaction between a dog and his master. When the master calls the dog will respond immediately and excitedly, because he knows who he is and who he belongs to. Even in a crowd of people, a dog can hear and respond to his master’s voice. The same should be true when it comes to our relationship with God.

God has called each of us by name. He knows us intimately and fully. And when He calls us, we should be ready and excited to respond. Do you have that kind of relationship with God? Do you recognize His voice, even in the noise of the world around you?

PRAY

Thank God for all that He provides for you. Pray that you will continue to recognize His voice, even in the midst of a crowd. And ask for the courage and ability to continually respond to Him.

ACT

Write down today’s lesson: Know Who You Are. Then, read Psalm 139:13-14 for a reminder of just how well God knows you.
