Deuteronomy 2
Description
Moses continued his review of the works and ways of God among His people by reminding them of their encounters with the people of Edom, Moab, and Ammon. He also reminded them of their conquest of Sihon and the Amorites to provide them with a sense of perspective on the way God had gone before them, guided them, provided for them, and protected them. The clearer they grasped God’s faithfulness in the past, the better they would be able to trust Him for the challenges of the present.
Reading of Deuteronomy 2
Prayer:
Lord, it is good for me to review Your dealings with me in the past so that I will have enough perspective to trust You actively in the present. Give me a sanctified memory and a growing sense of gratitude for what You have done in my life.
