Desperately Seeking Wisdom

Jesus wholeheartedly sought the will of God. Where so you need to seek God's wisdom and will?

How desperately do you need God to clarify your thinking? When you struggle with making sense of situations, with needing to make decisions that impact others, are you humbly and tenaciously pursuing God's understanding and will? Jesus demonstrated this type of wholehearted pursuit of God's will, and He found His Father to be sufficient for every demand. Where do you need to seek God's wisdom and will?

My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying (Proverbs 3:1-2, NLT).

Prayer: Lord, saturate my mind with Your thoughts. Through Scripture, through prayer, through setting my mind on things above, may Your Spirit shape my thinking and understanding. The world desperately needs Your wisdom, as do I. In Jesus' name, and on behalf of myself and those with whom I will interact today, I ask for wisdom, amen.
