Dead End

Children whose families fled conflict in the Central African Republic live in miserable conditions in makeshift camps. What hope do they have for the future?

A new report from the U.N. children’s agency says 230 million children—1 in 10—live in countries and areas torn by conflict. Among the countries and conflicts where children have the greatest needs are the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Iraq, and the Syrian refugee crisis, where World Vision provides aid programs for children and families.

Please pray for children living in conflict zones.

“Heavenly Father, you know when a sparrow falls. We ask you to hold to your heart the children who suffer because of conflict. In the chaos of violence or disaster, children may be harmed or exploited. Some have lost loved ones or even become separated from their families. Restore them to safety; and in your mercy heal their bodies and minds from the trauma they’ve experienced.”
