Dance for Joy

In the Andes Mountains of southwestern Peru, so high that lowlanders would have trouble catching a breath, boys and girls dance and play in a swirl of vivid colors.

In this remote region of the Andes Mountains, World Vision provides preschools for children ages 2 to 5 to prepare them for success in elementary school. Though the children speak Quechua, a native language, they will begin learning Spanish in kindergarten. But here and around the world, games and dances are the universal children’s language.
