Daily Presence

Description

God wants to do something in us, and in our midst, every day, so don’t relegate Him to a time slot on the weekend.

Psalm 145:2 (NASB®)

Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever.

I want to invite you to practice the presence of God on a daily basis. You can do it through prayer, or reading your Bible, or worship. A good example of the wisdom of interacting with God on a daily basis is when Jesus taught the disciples to pray. He could have instructed them to say, “Provide our daily bread forever,” but He said, “Give us this day our daily bread.” And when God provided nourishment for the Israelites in the wilderness, He provided just what they needed on a daily basis. God wants to do something in us, and in our midst, every day, so don’t relegate God to a time slot on the weekend. Let God be a part of your daily routine.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father, I will bless You every day, and I will praise Your name forever and ever. Thank You for the honor of interacting personally with Almighty God, Creator of the universe—every day, every moment of my life. May I never take that privilege for granted. In Jesus’ name I pray and believe, amen.
