Daily Prayer

As moms, we cannot do our job well, unless God is giving us His strength.

Ephesians 3: 16-17

I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith

We need the strength of God, daily, in our lives.  As moms, we cannot do our job well, unless God is giving us His strength.  The job of a mom is too hard to do by yourself, in your own strength.  It is too hard, because children demand so much from us, and they deplete us.  If we are not looking to God to fill us back up, to give us strength and wisdom, then eventually we will become a shell of a person.

God doesn't want moms to be hollow inside or to be slaves to our children. God loves you and wants to empower you with His strength all the way down to your inner being.  Wow! That is amazing!!! It’s almost like a huge energy pill to start your day- every day.  Are you taking advantage of what God is so freely giving?  Or are you doing the motherhood job in your own strength?  Take advantage of the gift that is being offered, you will never regret it.

Father, Thank you for Your Spirit that gives me strength.  I need Your strength.  I am weary, empty, tired and I NEED you!  God, fill me up from my inner most being, to the point of overflowing.  I thank You for this amazing gift, today.
