I will mention the loving kindnesses of the Lord and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord Has bestowed on us. Isaiah 63:7.
Are you feeling down this morning? Well then, how about counting all the good things Jesus has done for you?
Like the day He rescued you, took you out of that miry pit, cleaned you off and gave you a new life. Remember how He forgave all of your sins. How He healed your child, found you that job, restored your tarnished reputation. Set you free of that terrible addiction.
Maybe You are not feeling great this morning, but ask yourself the question: Has Jesus never set me free from a situation like this before? Of course He has, many times, and He will do it again today if you will just let Him.
Therefore, like David of old, speak to your soul Psalm 42:5: “Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me?” Hope in God.
It is a new day, a new beginning, and He will not fail us nor disappoint us. Go in faith, and Jesus shall see us through.
