Clear Thinking

How clearly are you able to analyze choices in light of Scripture?

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Some decisions have to be weighed carefully, while others are clear cut. Jesus didn’t have to second-guess what to do when Satan tempted Him in the wilderness. His thinking and decision-making was grounded in Scripture. What guides your decision-making? How clearly are you able to analyze choices in light of Scripture? How strongly does a biblical perspective shape your thinking and value system?
