I’m trying to figure out the perfect gift to give my kids and it’s stressing me out! One of my sons wants a new camera, the other asked for an iPhone and my daughter wants a doll house! The other day when I was trying to think of something more meaningful to give them, I realized that what they need doesn’t come with a price tag. I can’t wrap it, tie it with ribbon, or even put it under the tree.

Because the gift my children really need is my time. They want time to bake cookies with me and let them have a bigger say in decorating the tree - which takes more time. They want time to drive around and look at Christmas lights. And there’s no better way to let them know they’re important to me, even more than my to-do list!

Now I’m sure they’ll still get some gifts on their lists, but I have a feeling my time will be the one they’ll remember most.
