The other night I was driving through our neighborhood and noticed all the different holiday decorations.
One house had a simple wreath on the front door. Another one had bows on the columns and candles in the windows. The next one had three giant-sized inflatable characters, a dozen candy canes lining the sidewalk and five trillion lights. I remember thinking, “O my, this house is certainly… festive.”
I confess, sometimes I’ve been a little critical in my thoughts about others’ holiday decorations. But this year, I’m trying to remember God gave us different personality styles that affect the way we operate and decorate!
So, instead of wishing they’d decorate like I do, I want to appreciate our differences the way God does and celebrate their umm… creative expressions of Christmas!
