Chosen

Description

The next time you don’t get asked to the park or invited to lunch by the other moms, tell yourself it's okay—because God has chosen you and you are wanted by the King of Kings!

I Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God…

We all want to be wanted. In grade school, we wanted to be one of the first picked on the team. As we grew, we wanted to be in the popular group, we wanted a guy to ask us to the dance.Things haven’t changed.  Even though you are now a mom, you still want to be wanted, to feel special. Well, you are special! The Lord God Almighty, master and creator of the universe, has chosen you! Through God’s love for you, He has chosen you to be an heir with Jesus and to share in all His glory for eternity. It doesn’t get more special than that.

So many times we get so blinded by “this” world. We belong to God and we are a royal priesthood, we will celebrate for eternity with God. The next time you don’t get asked to the park by the other moms, or don’t get invited to lunch, tell yourself it's okay, because God has chosen you and you are wanted by the King of Kings!

Prayer: Father, Wow! To be chosen by You Lord, is almost too much to take in. Thank you! Thank You for loving me even though I am a sinner.  Thank You for giving me mercy and grace. Create in me, Lord, what You want me to be. I am Your chosen daughter and loved by You.
