Childhood Lost

Description

World Vision is helping to protect children and change society in Central American countries for innocent families like Daniel's. Please pray with us for peace and transformation.

Daniel Cuellar, 18, cries at the grave of a friend who died as a result of gang violence in El Salvador.

"It hurt a lot [when he was killed] because he was our friend. He got along with everyone. He was 18," Daniel says. "Several of my friends have been killed by La Mara (a gang). Those who haven’t been killed have been shot or are in jail. "They are disappearing," he says of his former friends and classmates.
